He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ellis Scott and Jo-Ann Ponevas; and his sister Cathy Lannigan. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Scott; his children, Colby, Ethan, Hailey and Amber; and his siblings, John Ansems (Kyra), Peter Ansems (Joanne Sauliner), Don Scott (Elaine), Lisa Houston (Ronnie) and Angie McKenna (Billy). He is also survived by Many cousins, nieces, nephews.
