She was predeceased by : her parents Harry Trainor and Margaret Trainor (Casey) of St. Teresa; her siblings, Gladys, Sally, Helen and James; her brothers-in-law, Roy Kenny and Carl Baird; her nephews, Blair Trainor, Kevin and Sean Kenny; and her granddaughter Crystal Dawn Kenny.

She is survived by : her children, Gerard of Dromore, Margaret (Reuben), Lakeside, Cecil (Marie), Brackley, Roberta of Bethel, Bernadette (Leo), Watervale, Eleanor (Frank), Fortune, Gladys (Lloyd), Tracadie Cross, David (Kathy), Head of Montague, Patricia, Robert (Josie), Mermaid and Paul (Anne); and her siblings, Cecil Trainor (Marion), Anita Ryan (Clifford) and Roseen Baird.

In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations in Ruth's memory may be made to the St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery Fund.
