It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amy Mae Chapman of Murray Harbour, Prince Edward Island, born in Belle River, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Cecil Chapman; her parents, Chester Hancock and Letitia Hancock (Cook); and her siblings, Winston Hancock, John Hancock, Cleveland (Miriam), Ivan (Elizabeth), James Hancock, Howard Hancock, Doris (Leonard) and Grierson.

She is survived by: her children, David (Carolyn), Kenny (Michele) and Joye MacLeod (Sam); her grandchildren, Matthew, Kristina, Colin, Alyssa, Janine, Emily, Andrew and Mariah; her great grandchildren, Reagh, Letitia and Ryker; her sisters, Sadie Stewart (Ray) and June Burley (Wayne); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Hancock, Gladys Hancock, Frances Hancock and Alice Glover. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
