He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter MacDonald and Donalda MacDonald; his brothers, Daniel, Ronald and Alan; and his brothers-in-law, Ron Livingstone, Alvin Ferguson and Kenny Fogarty.
He is survived by: his wife Carole MacDonald (Campbell); his son Paul (Krista); his grandchildren, Jacob and Nicole; his siblings, Stewart (Judy), Marilyn MacDonald (Stuart Cunningham) and Ida MacLennan; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia MacDonald, Joanie Livingstone, Judy Koke (George), Sadie Fogarty, Darlene MacSwain (Lynn), Dianne Ferguson, Kathy Leard (Wally), Gail Greene (David) and Ronnie Campbell (Beth).
