She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Vey and Edna Vey (Crossman); her husband Abbie; her siblings, Elaine Groskoph (Nord), George Vey (Audrey) and Charles Vey (Sandy); her siblings-in-law, Howard Lidstone (Bessie), Keith Lidstone (Tish), Preston Lidstone, Billy Lidstone (Evelyn), Jimmy Lidstone (Shirley), Helen Lidstone (Ralph), Isabel MacAusland (Leonard), Etta Mae Wallace (Albert) and Birtie; and her siblings' children, Wendy Paugh and Jeff Vey.
She is survived by: her children, Steven (Sharon), Michael (Theresa) and Heather Vincent (Kevin); her grandchildren, Jeffrey (Melissa), Abbie-Anne (Karl), Owen (Melissa), Tony (Amber), Jake (Krystal), Colby and Nathan (Briana); her great grandchildren, MacKenzie, Louie, Emily and Ivy; her siblings, Harry Vey (Maggie) and Mary Johnson; and her sister-in-law Greta Paugh.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Chapel (351 Main St, O'Leary, PE C0B1V0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 6th 2026 at 12:45 PM and at 1:00 PM.
