He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Hazel Buchanan; parents: Dan Buchanan and Ruth Buchanan; children: Lonnie (Mary Jean O'Brien), Kevin (Deborah Steeves), Glenda (Raymond Hardy), Adele (Randy Cooke), Blain (Amy) and Larry (Joy); sister: Myrna Ellis; sisters-in-law: Aleta Buchanan, Leah Harris; brothers-in-law: Wyman (Carol) Harris, Muncey (Leah) Harris; niece: Sara Murray; predeceased siblings: Jennie Cave, Gladys Kerslake, Warner, Malcolm; predeceased sisters-in-law: Doris Buchanan; predeceased brothers-in-law: John Cave, Alvin Kerslake and Aubrey Ellis; Shirley Phillips; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Chapel (351 Main St, O'Leary, PE C0B1V0). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
