He was predeceased by : his wife Helene Kunz; his parents, Wilbert Waite and Ruby Waite (Currie); his stepmother Muriel Waite (Helene); his son Stephen; and his siblings, Henry, Elwyn, Willard Gay (Elizabeth) and Lloydia Wedlock.

He is survived by : his daughter Debbie Gillen; and his brother Sherman Waite (Mary). He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
