It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verouse Thomas Sentner (O'Leary, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Sentner and Frances Sentner (Matthews); his children, Rev. Dan (Julie) and Jerry (Janet); his son-in-law Rodney Hogg; his granddaughter Rebecca; and his siblings, Miriam Thomson, Arlene Smith, John, Edgar and Percy.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his daughters, Ruth Hogg and Cheryl MacNeill (Richard); his siblings, Betty Grant, David Sentner (Bonnarae), Emily Ellsworth (David), Linda Manuel (Percy) and Gary Sentner (Rhoda); and his siblings-in-law, Norma Sentner, Doug Smith, Marie Collicutt, Elwood Cooke (Shirley), Edith Cooke and Beryl Cooke.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel (351 Main St, O'Leary, PE C0B1V0). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel (351 Main St, O'Leary, PE C0B1V0).
