He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bridges and Hazel Bridges (MacDougall); his daughter-in-law Joyce; his grandsons, Randy and Colin; his great grandchild Lydia Jean Griffin; and his siblings, Kevin, Bev, William Jr., Roland, Bradley, Anita Benson and Phyllis Quinn-Cheverie.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Marylinn (Terry Shaver), Brian Bridges, Paul (Joanne), Blair (Margaret), Randy Wendall (Sharon), Scott (Kim), Coralee Wright (Gordie) and Greg (Vicki); his siblings, Norma MacDougall (Herb), Ronald, Donald (Debbie), Susan Jeffery (Ralph), Bertha, Marlene Ford (Clarence), Janice Gaudet (Francis) and Patricia Tanner (Terry); and his siblings-in-law, Clarence Rafferty (Ann), Ronald Rafferty, Norbert Rafferty (Eileen) and Mollie Lynch (Peter). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
In memory of Wendall, memorials to the O'Leary Community Health Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) would be appreciated.
