She was predeceased by : her husband Herbie Cheverie; her children, Linda Gagnon, Janey MacDonald (Ray), Scott, Desi (Lynn Ann), Jason (Andrea Bourque) and Zita Cheverie (Ryan Nelson); her parents, Harry Mallard and Mary Minnie Peters; her siblings, Billy, Eubie, Tommy Mallard and Edna Bain; and her brothers-in-law, Jack Coghill and Grant Cheverie.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Jacob, Blake, Brian, Andrew, Benjamin, Sarah, Megan, Alyssa, Danika, Kasson and Jonah; her sisters, Susan Jenkins, Irene Coghill, Millie Cheverie, Doris Noble (Ray), Ethel Leeming (Jack), Eunice Ince (Karl) and Gloria Ann Anthony (Doug); and her siblings-in-law, Betty Osbourne, Winnie Strang, Edie Broderick (John), Marlene Clinton (Bernard) and Roy Bain. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
