He is survived by: his brothers, Michael Rice and Brian Rice; his uncle Roger Burke; his cousins, Karen, Glennie, Matthew Joly-Rice and Jason Joly-Rice of Alberta; and his foster mother Arlene. He is also survived by his family and special friends.
