She was predeceased by : her parents, Brian and Bertha; her brother Derek; her father-in-law Earl; and her sister-in-law Stacy.

She is survived by : her husband Boyde MacDonald; her children, Marie, Brian (Krista) and Clinton (Jen); her grandchildren, Mason, Dominic, Bryce, Arielle, Silas, Felix, Rosalie, Lily and Selena; her sisters, Elaine (Bruce) and Nancy (Alan); her parents-in-law, Helen, Karen (Gary), Joanne (Gerard) and Bernard; and also, Roger and Alice. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

If so desired, donations in memory of Bertha can be made to the Bay Fortune United Cemetery Fund or the Diabetes Canada.
