He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph MacDonald and Lela MacDonald; his siblings, Annie Livingstone (Archie), Elwin, Gerald (Miriam) and Earl; and his brothers-in-law, Ryk Veld and Lloyd MacDonald.

He is survived by : his children, Joey (Michelle) and Bobbi-Jo (Tim); his grandchildren, Hailey, Kylee, Ayden, Grace, Will, Sierra and Taylor; his siblings, June Veld (Wally), Garnet (Marilyn), Owen (Debbie), Alice Acorn (Roger), Audrey MacDonald, Lela MacKay (Cecil), Garry (Bernadette) and Beverley MacDonald Nora (Gary); and his sister-in-law Helen MacDonald.
