Christina Bernadette Tonks Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christina Bernadette Tonks (Souris, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on October 31, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Barker and Margret Barker (Cheverie); her granddaughter Kirsten; her siblings, Alex, Bob, John Lenard (Elaine), Elizabeth Keefe, Ivan Keefe, Madeleine, Pat Barker, Billy and Richard Tonks; and her niece Anne Bower.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jim"; her children, Kenneth (Andrea), Jason (Dana), Erin (Bobby) and Sharon (Tim); her grandchildren, Jayda, Keira, Liam, Hailey, Logan, Emily, Ben, Olivia and Henry; her sibling Ernie; and her siblings-in-law, Millie, Lyn, Barbara, Josephine, Diane and Stephen (Teresa).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dingwell Funeral Home (3 Washington St, Souris, PE C0A2B0). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church (3 Longworth St, Souris, PE C0A2B0). A burial was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at the St. Alexis Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.
