He was predeceased by: his parents, Leith and Letty; his siblings, Bill, Shirley Coffin and Phyllis McKie; his in-laws, John and Marjorie Mclean; his brothers-in-law, Errol Wood, Johnny McLean, Roy Coffin, David McKie and Guy Jay; his nephew Blair Coffin; and his nephew-in-law Mike McIntosh.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his daughters, Kilby (Daniel Albert) and Heidi (Marc Lavack); his sisters, Betty and Lillian (Wayne); and his sister-in-law Marilyn.
