He was predeceased by: his former wife Audrey Cornick; his parents, Heber Saunders and Ida Saunders; his siblings, Gladys Saunders, Bertram, Janet Clouter (Saul), Roy (Edna) and Frank; and his son-in-law Wilfred Steele.
He is survived by: his wife Maddie; his stepchildren, Roland (Wanda), Melinda Steele and John Noel (Debbie); his grandchildren, Laura, Jeanna (Matty), Troy, Anita, Emily, Abigail and Aaron; his great grandchildren, Cohen, Sophie, Malcolm and Rowan; and his sister-in-law Ivy Saunders. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
