Frances Therese Stewart Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Therese Stewart (Souris, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on October 2, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frances Therese Stewart to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roach McGaugh and Marjorie McGaugh; her husband Francis; her children, Mary Stephey (Lynn), Lisa Weddle (Jim), Cyndi Russell and Bobby Weddle (Darla); and her siblings, Ethel Todd (Frank), Bernice McInnis (Daniel), Gene McGaugh (Lucy), Colin and Sterling "Buster".
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Autumn, Nate, Sarah, Hannah, Amanda, Lauren, Liam, Calem, Rylen, Hudson, Madelyn, Maggie, Chloe, Big, Kinsley, Olivia, Landon and Aliyah; and her sisters, Aileen Dwan, Noreen Kennedy (James) and Anne MacDonald. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephew, and extended members of the Stewart family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dingwell Funeral Home (3 Washington St, Souris, PE C0A2B0). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the St. Columba Church Cemetery.
