He was predeceased by : his wife Betty J.; his parents, John Brady and Margaret Fay; his siblings, Joan Fay and Joe Fay; his nephews, Lance Fay and Marshall Eastman; his niece Deidre; and his siblings-in-law, Hughie McPhee and Eileen Fay.

He is survived by : his children, Carl, Kevin (Lisa) and Angela (Maciej); his siblings, Ruth MacRae (Frank), Bradley Fay (Sandra), Phillip Fay, Anne McPhee, Maggie MacPhee (Westie), Jimmy Fay and Susan Birt (Donnie); and his sister-in-law Annette Fay.
