She was predeceased by : her parents, James Blackett and Sarah Bell Blackett; her son Jamie Kent; and her siblings, Sydney, Sheila, Raymond, George, Herbie, Mae, Francis and Alvin.

She is survived by : her daughters, Elena Acorn (Danny) and Jolene MacNevin (Darcy); and her aunts, Betty Blaisdell and Grace Jackson. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
