He was predeceased by : his father John; his brothers, Kevin McIntosh and Peter McQuaid; his father-in-law Roy Coffin; and his brother-in-law Blair Coffin.

He is survived by : his wife Sharon; his children, Evan (Heidi) and Candice (Joey); his mother Joan; his siblings, Ronnie (Lorraine), Norman (Colleen), Gertie Campbell (Wayne), Chrissy MacAulay (David), Andy, Rena MacAulay (Dwain), Roger (Tania), Laura MacDonald (Joe), Beth, Lenny, Pam Whalen (Lennie) and Danny (Cindy); his sisters-in-law, Jeanna McIntosh and Connie McQuaid; and his aunts, Rita and Linda Lutz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mike can be made to the Eastern Kings Health Foundation (Souris Hospital) or Kid Sport PEI.
