She was predeceased by: her parents, Leith Townshend and Letty Townshend; her husband Roy Ernest Coffin; her son Blair Coffin; her son-in-law Mike McIntosh; and her brother Bill Townshend.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon McIntosh and Karon Coffin (Rob Bliss); her daughter-in-law Connie Coffin; her grandchildren, Jeannie (Andrew), Jolene (Tom), Evan (Heidi), Candice (Joey), Jennifer (Matt) and Aaron (Jesse); her great grandchildren, Ava, Lucas, Jack, Frankie, Cohen, Austin, Emmett, Keegan and Harper; her siblings, Betty Jay, Phyllis McKie, David Townshend (Bonnie) and Lillian Burke (Wayne); and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Townshend and Hazel Cook.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dingwell Funeral Home (3 Washington St, Souris, PE C0A2B0). A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Union Cemetery.
If so desired, donations in memory of Shirley can be made to the Union Cemetery or the Eastern Kings Health Foundation (Colville Manor).
