He is survived by : his spouse Shirley MacLeod; his mother Jeanette Adams; his children, Dylan Ross (Emily MacIsaac) and Nicole Ross; his siblings, Kevin Ross (Sherry) and Darlene Kerr (Shane); and his siblings-in-law, Barry MacLeod (Raquel) and Donna MacLeod (Rob). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; extended family and many close friends.

“I meet Blair in French language training in Montreal when we both joined the force. The first day he came into class he asked me how do you ask to go the bathroom? I said Je T’aime ( I love you) to which he said it to our female teacher., she said I barely even know you. He looked at me and said Stein you asshole what did I say. We had some good times in French language training and in depot. I still have a photo of Blair and myself in French maid outfits. Going to miss you my brother.”
