She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert Acorn; her stepdaughter Kim Acorn of Dartmouth, NS.; her parents, John Walsh and Anastasia Walsh of East Royalty; her brother Wally Walsh (Madeline); her sisters-in-law, Jean and Mary; her friend Alice Long C. N. D.; her sisters, Rita (Marcus Strachan), Gladys (Jack Campbell), Eileen (James Ayers), Helen (Ted Creighan), Phyllis (Ron LeClair) and Doreen Walsh C. N. D.; Louis (Fran), Patrick (Peggy), Maurice, Arthur and Ernest. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home (33 Longworth Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A 5A3). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Redeemer Church (3 Pond St, Charlottetown, PE C1A2N9).
