She was predeceased by : her husband Elton MacKay; her child Shirley Aitken; her brothers, Herman, Chester, Lewis and Raymond Adams; and her siblings-in-law, Minnie Adams, Elsie Drake, Monica Adams, Warner Ramsay and Ellsworth Cameron.
She is survived by : her children, Roger MacKay (Colleen), Kenneth MacKay (Julie), Gordon MacKay (Donna), Wilmot Valley and Lynn LaPlante (Eric) of Moncton, NB; her stepdaughter Linda Smith (Martin) of Bedford, N. S; her grandchildren, Jason Aitken, Melissa Aitken-McQuaid, Darren MacKay, Jonathan MacKay, Bradley MacKay, Alyson MacKay, Melanie LaPlante and Vanessa LaPlante; and her sisters, Ruby Ramsay of Halifax, NS, Lucy Cameron Summerside and Effie Arsenault (Aurele). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
