He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Gallant and Ruth Gallant (Cahill); and his nephew Brandon Gallant. He is survived by: his children, Bradley Cormier (Cassie) and Melissa Cahill (Brody); his grandchildren, Liam, Lucas and Lilah Cahill; and his siblings, Doug Morris, Anna McMurty, Fay Langille (Jeff), Walter Gallant (Sharon), Kim Chiheb (Aziz), David Gallant (Cheri), Ruby Gallant and Trish Gallant. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations to the George A. Gallant Family Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
