We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Ian K. MacDonald of Summerside, Prince Edward Island. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Ian departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Ian. Though Ian may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John D MacDonald and Effie MacDonald (MacLean); his children, Marilyn MacDonald (Kevin Stewart) of Summerside, PEI, Gail Marchand (Doug) and Michael MacDonald (Mazie) of Markham, ON; his grandchildren, Lauryn, Reid Marchand and Briana MacDonald; and his sister Sheila MacDonald of Sydney, NS.. He was also cherished by nephews, friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity United Church (90 Spring St, Summerside, PE C1N3E4).
