He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Elizabeth "Betty" Lyle (late Wendell) and Ernest Waite; his wife Joan Waite (Croken); his siblings, Terry (Judith), Ron (Barb), Kenny (Betty), Thane Waite (Cathy), Nancy Heaney and Lori Abbott (Mike); his brothers-in-law, Allan Croken and Leonard Croken; his sister Linda Waite; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Heaney. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation or International Children's Memorial Place would be appreciated.
