He was predeceased by : his parents, Lorne Beaton and Mabel Beaton; his wife Shirley Beaton (Ivany); his sister Norma Jean Robertson (Beaton); his stepson Blair Gillis (Vicki); and his great grandchild Dylan Gillis.
He is survived by : his stepsons, Raymond Gillis (Donna) of Cold Lake, AB, James Gillis (Barbara) of Dartmouth, NS and Darren Gillis (Leeanne) of Quispamsis, NB; his grandchildren, Sydney, Trevor, Derrick, Natalie, Mitchell, Sabrina, Kierston, Robyn, Matthew, Melissa, Hannah, Sophie and Lauren; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Cole, Carly, Samuel, Ella, Grayson, Jasmine, June, Gavin, Tristan, Piercen, Kingsley, Scarlette, Conner, Atticus, Bradley, Aiden, Cohen, Beau, Isla, James and Caroline; his siblings, Catherine Beaton, Louise Coughlin of Mill River, PE and George Beaton of Summerside, PE; his nephew Christopher; and his great-nephew Skyler.
