He was predeceased by : his parents, Reginald Compton and Margaret Compton (Todd); and his siblings, Charles Compton and Margaret "Etta" Burch (Donald). He is survived by : his wife Judy Compton; his children, Jamie Compton, Mitch Compton (Kathleen Lawrence) and Tammy Sonier (Dwight Dougay); his grandchildren, Kirsten Fisher-Compton, Jenna Boucher, Sayla Dei, Amelia, Thayne and Maeve; his great grandchild Liam Compton-Labobe; and his siblings, Doris Peterson (Rob), Violet Banks (Lloyd) and Wayne Compton (Anne).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Palliative Care Unit of the O'Leary Community Hospital would be appreciated.
