He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Walsh and Eva Mary Walsh (Maddix); his siblings, Irene DesRoche and John Robert; and his former life partner Jessie.

He is survived by : his siblings, Sandra Adams (Gerald), Fred (Olive) of Charlottetown, Clayton of Charlottetown and Eric of Charlottetown; and his sister-in-law Grace Walsh. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
