He was predeceased by : his wife Mary Ellen Richard; his parents, Henry Richard and Phyllis Richard; his son Neil Richard; his granddaughter Bonnie Richard; and his friend Doris Gaudet.
He is survived by : his children, Gary Richard (Gale) of Toronto, Philip Richard (Brenda) of St. Roch, Stephen Richard of Fort McMurray, Barbara Richard (Leonard) of St. Roch, Dede Richard (Claude) of St. Roch, Blaine Richard (Maudie) of Tignish, Edna Martell (Eric) of Georgetown, Joey Richard (Allison) of Toronto, Mary Richard (Cyril) of Ascension and Jenny Clements (Brian) of Alberton; his sister Mildred Smith of Halifax; and his daughter-in-law Karen Richard of Wellington. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
