He was predeceased by: his father Wayne Perry (Pauline); his grandmother Stella Gaudet; his son Jake McCue; his grandfathers, Edmond Gaudet and Willy Pitre; his father-in-law Alfred (Freda Hackett); and his brothers-in-law, Harold and Eddie Hackett.

He is survived by: his wife Lisa Mae Hackett Gaudet; his mother Betty Pitre (Ronnie); his daughter Jocelyn; and his siblings, Sarah Lee Pitre (Dexter), Andrea Perry (Anthony), Rochelle Arsenault (Charles), Scott Perry (Shanna), Mitchell Perry (Coralee), Joel Perry (Tasha), David Gaudet (Diane), Brenda Doyle (late Martin), Paula Doyle (Steve), Emelda Pitre (Albert), Barb Gaudet-Bernard (Allen), Claudette LeClair (Ed), Bernadette Arsenault (Jerome) and Joanne Cummiskey (Tony). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel (419 Main St, Alberton, PE C0B 1B0). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the St. Simon and St Jude Church (313 Church St, Tignish, PE C0B2B0).
