It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sophie M. Gaudet (Tignish, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on May 15, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph and Beatrice; her husband Guillaume; her daughter Bernadette; her son-in-law Ivan; her children, Marcella and Patrick; and her grandchild Dryden.

She is survived by : her children, Gloria Ellsworth, Vincent Gaudet (Amy), Stephen Gaudet (Joanne), Michael Gaudet (Gracie), Paul Gaudet (Susan), Jacinta Wallace (Colin), Janine Richard (Willie) and Krista Ellsworth (Dale); her son-in-law Bernie Perry; her sister-in-law Stella Gaudet; her niece Mae Bernard (Alyre); and also, Peterville, Elaine Gaudet, Alberton and Tignish. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren 6 great grandchildren and 4 great- great grandchildren.
