She was predeceased by: her father Walter Alfred; her children, Phillip and Marlene; and her brother Junior. She is survived by: her family Theresa Gertrude Doucette (late Henry); her children, Gloria Hackett (Donald), Sea Cow Pond, Darlene Doucette (Roger Gavin) and Robbie Doucette (Nancy); her grandchildren, Jennifer Vriends, Nicholas Doucette, Vanessa Mallett, Nigel Hackett, Lance Hackett, Brian Doucette, Mitchell Doucette, Kyla Ellis, Pam Arsenault, Melissa Perry and Tyler Doucette; and her siblings, John Perry (Sharon) of Erin, ON, Sylvia Thompson, Ollie Rodd and Joanne Perry of Summerside. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Simon and St. Jude Church (313 Church St, Tignish, PE C0B2B0).
