He was predeceased by : his parents, Joyce and Perly; and his brothers, Gary, Derril and Melvin.

He is survived by : his wife Ardyth Drake (Sherwood); his children, Rodney Drake (Karen), Gregory Drake (Nicole) and Adenna Drake; his grandchildren, Ethan, Liam, David and Clara; his sisters, Florence Hennessey (Rob) of Charlottetown, PE, Gwen Chow (John) of Chilliwack, BC and Cindy Gaudet (Michel) of Tantallon, NS; and his sister-in-law Jean Drake of Vernon Bridge, PE.
