She was predeceased by : her spouse Lloyd Furness; her son John; her parents, Malcolm MacNeill and Sarah MacNeill; her siblings, Albert MacNeill, Reverend Dr, Goodwill MacDougall, Vina MacNeill, Elizabeth Brown, Janette Beaton, Margaret MacDougall and Grace Ross; and also, Captain Finlay and Margaret MacDougall.

She is survived by : her children, Ralph (Kathy) and Gordon (Sharon); her child-in-law Kathy; her grandchildren, Colin (Andrea), Jillian, Daniel, Monica, Evan (Ashley) and Sarah; her great grandchild Jonathan; her sibling Mary Martin; and her sibling-in-law Marion Platts.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew's United Church Memorial Fund or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Fund.
