Eric Douglas McLaine Obituary

We bid farewell to Eric Douglas McLaine (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 20, 2025 at the age of 74. Eric touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John (JB) and Helen (Wigmore); his parents-in-law, Clara and Wallace; his son Shawn; and his siblings, Carol, David, Walter, Laura and Lawrence.

He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Korinda (David Wilson) and Mark (Stephanie MacLeod); his grandchildren, Malia and Kaia; his siblings, Heather, Susan (Jim), Myrtle (Alan), Nancy, Rosemary (Marvin), George (Gail), William (Carol-Ann), Ronnie and Roger (Michelle); and his siblings-in-law, Elayne and Fenton (Marlene). He is also survived by the love of his life who he was married to.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Belvedere Funeral Home (175 Belvedere Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A2Y9). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's Anglican Church (17184 All Weather Hwy, Miltonvale Park, PE C1E1Z4).
