He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Margaret Sayers; his parents, Walter Statton and Lillian Desruisseaux; and his siblings, Eugene (late Anita Cormier), June (late Donald Mc Cormick), Walter Jr. (late Ruth Ord), Chester and Judith (late Keith Smith).

He is survived by: his children, Paulette, Pat (Ruth Kelly), Perry (Joy Allison), Patsy, Peggy (John Comeau) and Percy; and his sister Lydia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, others relatives and friends.
