Joseph Selkirk Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Selkirk (Chapeau, Québec), who passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joseph shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joseph farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Selkirk and Muriel McConnell; and his siblings, James (Bert), Geoffrey, Ian (Stretch) and Donna Lee Ponton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hayes Funeral Home (56 Rue Saint-Jacques, Chapeau, QC J0X1M0). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Calvin Presbyterian Cemetery (County Rd 35, Pembroke, ON).
