She was predeceased by: her grandson Steven. She is survived by: her husband Malcolm Gillis; her children, Linda (Bob), Margaret (late Victor), Charlotte (Claude), Brian (Diane), Valerie (Jim), Michael and Wendy (Jim); and her grandchildren, Tara, Gwen, James, Rachel, Melanie, Kris, Jason, Sean, Tiffany and Malcolm. She is also survived by her 16 great grandchildren and her 2 great great grandchildren.

In her memory, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
