John Gileta Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Gileta (Châteauguay, Québec), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Gileta; his children, Joanne and James; and his granddaughters, Adele and Stella. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Complexe Funéraire Châteauguay (96 Boulevard Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Châteauguay, QC J6K 3A6). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of the Parlor.
