He is survived by: his spouse Halima Ali; his children, Nasima, Farida (Saboor Omar), Aziza, Anisa, Marzia, Manijeh (Geoffrey Cook) and Farzad (Nadia Boucher); his grandchildren, Hila, Maschal, Persia and Louana; and his great grandchildren, Dua and Nia.
