He is survived by: his wife Gilberta Massa DeSousa; his children, Gisel (Greg), Nathalie (Peter) and Philippe (Alison); his grandchildren, Sabrina, Bailey, Megan, Jonathan and Francis; his siblings, Maria (Ildefonso) of Jesus, Natalia (Antonio) and Octavio (Manuela); and his pet Romy. He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
