She was predeceased by: her parents, James Chapin Robertson and Hilda Mary Cutler; her husband Allan Hawkins Butler; her son Allan James; and her sister Gwen.

She is survived by: her daughter Jane (Michael). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
