It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Carolyn Pottle Keane (Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Québec), born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on March 8, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Roy and Lily Roy; her former husband John; her daughter Carolyn; and her husband Cully Keane.
She is survived by: her sister Pat Marcille (Mike) of Roxboro, QC; her son Kevin (Darlene) of Fredericton, NB; her stepsons, Bruce Keane (Deborah) and Keith Keane; her grandchildren, Victoria, Kristen, Justin, Matthew, David, Miles, Eric, Jason, Kailey and Allison; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Alexandria, Lydia, Clark, Ellie and Nora. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Cremation has taken place but due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no visitation or service at this time.
The family requests that any donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer's Society of Canada or to a charity of the donor's choice.
