He was predeceased by: his former wife Sue (Alexandrovitch); his son William; and his sister Olga (Steve). He is survived by: his wife Sylvia (Harvey-Rankin); his children, Richard, Cathy, Shirley, Jennifer, Fiona and Andrea Rankin; and his sisters, Marie, Jeanette and Rose (Joseph).
