“Uncle Jack was so fascinating and he had a terrific sense of humour. We always enjoyed a good laugh when he visited family in Toronto. He'd grown up during tough post-war times but he and his siblings didn't know any different. They played barefoot and carefree as can be seen in the photo. Toronto was vast and had so much space back then to run amok. Grandma was such a good sport with all of their shenanigans and unusual pets. Lots of terrific stories to be told. I will miss him dearly. Joanne”

“I started Air Canada in 1998, and have had many an interesting conversation with Jack. He still had his wits about him, even though he officially retired over 10 years prior!
