She was predeceased by: her husband Mike Handfield; her siblings, Albert, Jim, Lucille and Kathleen; and her father John.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven, Tom (Michelle) and Ron (Ingrid); her grandchildren, Christopher (Rebeccah), Ryan (Alexandra), Brandon, Spencer (Ruby), Julia, Emily, Madison (Alvaro) and Nicole (Nick); and her siblings, Theresa (late Jean Mayrand), Jeannine (late Jim Mackie) and Robert (Monique). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rideau Funeral Home (4275 Bd des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC H9B2A6). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
