He is survived by: his wife Karen Tymchuk; his children, Olivia and Maxime; his brothers, Bernard (Sophonie), Charles (Lucie) and Antoine (Sophie); his siblings' children, Gabrielle, Évelyne, Béatrice, Mathilde, Emma, François-Xavier, Victor, Robert and Liam; and his goddaughter Rosemarie. He is also survived by other relatives, colleagues, and friends.
