He was predeceased by : his parents, Theodore Cassivi and Émilia Langlois. He is survived by : his wife Edna Bourgaize; his children, Coreen (Scott), Maureen, Roxane, Debra (Miles), Lana (Preston) and Steve (Charlene); his grandchildren, Troy, Laura, Rebecca, Shawnee, Michelle, Jessica, Josh and Marlee; and his great grandchildren, Damian, Caleb, Lily, Emmy, Theodore and Claire. He is also survived by his 2 sisters, his 3 brothers, and many other family members and friends.

Donations can be made in memory of Reginald Cassivi to the Foundation Brain Canada.
